Apollo had a rough road to recovery. He came to the SPCA before the holidays with a wound on the side of his face. He was on antibiotic treatments, ointments and topicals and nothing seemed to help his wound. We were afraid the wound wouldn't heal, but we didn't want to give up on this incredibly sweet boy so it was time for surgical intervention.
Apollo had surgery on December 30. Fast forward and this is Apollo today after most of his stitches were removed and his wound has almost completely healed. Check out the comments for a super cute video of this sweet boy just after his surgery.
