Create a Legacy
Their future is in our hands.
We know there will always be homeless animals and animals in need of medical treatment and a second chance. In the face of economic hardships and the lack of spay or neuter clinics in our community, we know there will never be a day when we aren’t needed. We are committed to continuing a high level of care for the animals in our shelter and will continue to be guided by our No-kill mission well into the future.
This year, we are launching our Shelter Angel Planned Giving Program to encourage substantial gift giving and estate planning commitments for future gifts. It is because of this mission and the high cost of veterinary care that we must take steps to meet the needs of homeless animals in the future.
How YOU can help:
We are encouraging you to plan with us. Please consider the following:
* Leave a bequest in your will or living trust.
* Name the Niagara County SPCA as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
* List the Niagara County SPCA as a recipient for your IRA or other retirement plan.
* Bequeath US Saving Bonds to the Niagara County SPCA.
* Donate tangible personal property.
* Provide funds now to help the Niagara County SPCA with capital needs or to support programs, projects or operations.
If you are in a position to do something wonderful now, that’s great. We have some ideas of how you could help and we’d be glad to hear what you have in mind as well. We know that some gifts will arrive down the road, but we are committed to our mission today, tomorrow and into the future.
We would be honored to respond to your interest in making a difference in the lives of homeless animals . Let us help you achieve your goal of providing care for animals in need by joining our Shelter Angel Planned Giving Program.
Become a Shelter Angel.
Legacy gifts are welcome in any amount. Your signature on a confidential “Letter of Intent for your Legacy Gift” is all that is required to become a Shelter Angel.
If you have already designated the Niagara County SPCA as a beneficiary, we welcome you to contact us so that we can thank you for your gift and recognize you as a Shelter Angel. In doing so, you will be listed on Niagara County SPCA publications and the website, treated to personal tours of the facility and receive future mailings from the shelter.
